3-course menu at the Saverino Restaurant
The story begins as far back as 29 June 1973, when, after a long experience as a fisherman and "ricattere" (fishmonger), grandfather Peppe Saverino, assisted by the "great Woman" grandmother Antonia, proudly crowned the dream of opening a small restaurant along the pleasant road that runs alongside our sea. At that time, opening a restaurant was a bold undertaking for many, but the tenacity and passion to introduce 'old-fashioned dishes' left no room for fear or hesitation.
Grandma Antonia's love for cooking, passion, dedication and spirit of sacrifice have made Saverino the restaurant par excellence. Grandma Antonia knew how to transform simple raw materials into tasty dishes dear to tradition. Perseverance pays off and after 20 years of love and passion, grandfather Peppe embarks on a new adventure, even bigger than the previous one, inaugurating a larger enterprise with a 20-room hotel.
It was on 29 June 1997, when the Saverino Restaurant and Hotel was born, currently run by Francesco, Mariella, Mattia, Pina, Laura and Rosa, who carry on the business laboriously set up by grandfather Peppe with commitment and dedication.
