\nTime for an individual visit to the city of Trapani<\/strong>, which is fascinating for the richness of its historic centre, with its baroque churches and sumptuous palaces.<\/p>\n

Participation in a cookery course<\/strong> at the Nuara<\/strong> gastronomic culture centre, housed in a beautiful historic courtyard just outside Trapani.
\nTuna<\/strong> will be the absolute protagonist of the recipes that will be prepared, tasted together with the chef at the end of the activities in the kitchen.<\/p>\n

Free overnight stay in Trapani.<\/strong>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”Day 2: OLIVE OIL EVO AND TUNA FACTORY OF BONAGIA” tab_id=”1631196207134-30941b93-083f525a-efe9″][vc_column_text]Individual transfer to the Baglio Fontanasalsa farm for a lunch with guided tasting of extra virgin olive oil<\/strong>, combined with typical local dishes. The oil pressed here has been awarded the MB mark and the “Valli Trapanesi<\/strong>”\u00a0Protected Designation of Origin.<\/p>\n

In the early afternoon, we recommend an excursion to the Mount Cofano Oriented Nature Reserve<\/strong>, a natural promontory located just north of the town of Custonaci<\/strong>, which can in effect be considered one of the most evocative landscape areas in western Sicily, with a series of caves overlooking the sea. The most interesting and scenic in this geo-archaeological context is undoubtedly the Mangiapane Cave<\/strong>, inside which, over time, small buildings have been constructed, used by the residents (fishermen, farmers, local breeders) as living units, warehouses and animal shelters.<\/p>\n

Afterwards, transfer to Bonagia<\/strong>, a fishing village at the foot of Valderice<\/strong>, strategically located halfway between Trapani and Custonaci.<\/p>\n

Guided visit to the fishing museum<\/strong> located inside the Tonnara watchtower. The museum houses tools and utensils that tell the story of tuna fishing and a miniature in the sea where the caught tuna ended up.
\nFollowed by a tasting of the fine products of the tuna factory accompanied by a local wine.<\/p>\n

Dinner with a typical menu<\/strong> at the Saverino restaurant, near the tuna factory.<\/p>\n
